Sunrise Service at the Chapel in the Woods
Join us for a special Easter morning at Lancaster Camp Ground as we gather for our first-ever Sunrise Service at the Chapel in the Woods on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Set among the trees in the early morning light, this service offers a peaceful and meaningful way to begin Easter—centered on worship, Scripture, and the hope of the resurrection.
The service will begin at 6:45 AM and will feature a cappella music, Scripture, and a sermon titled “The First Morning of the New Creation,” led by Colin Tripp, Director of Marketing at Lancaster Camp Ground. Designed to be simple, reverent, and welcoming, this service invites all to experience Easter morning in a quiet and reflective setting.
Transportation to the Chapel will be available from 6:30–6:45 AM. In the event of rain, the Sunrise Service will be moved to the Historic Davis Auditorium.
Following the service, guests are invited to gather for Easter Breakfast in the Café, served from 7:30–9:00 AM. Breakfast is $10 per person, and all proceeds will support the Restoration of the Cafeteria.
Whether this becomes a new tradition for you or a one-time visit, we invite you to begin Easter morning with us—rooted in faith, nature, and community.
